Multiple Income Streams – One At A Time
You may have noticed the tagline to my site has changed.
It is no longer about build your fortune and create your future.
Well, that idea hasn’t changed, but there is a reason I’ve made the shift. It’s basically because my site has been too broad in it’s scope, a general make money online website just like all of the other sites out there.
During the period when my site was down and I had a some issues during the shift to a new host, at one point I actually thought Iwas going to lose my entire site (at that stage I hadn’t backed it up! Lesson learned) and it got me to thinking…
If I had to start my site over again how would I approach it?
The truth is I’m kinda bored with just throwing up the same stuff as everyone else (actually I mentioned this in an earlier post). What I’m going to be doing is documenting my journey to creating multiple income streams, so you’ll get to see how each one works, or not, for me, and how they all fit together to create my overall income.
If you want multiple income streams, and lets be honest who doesn’t, when you try and do it all in one go you are setting yourself up to fail. I should know, that’s what I’ve been trying to do for the last while.
One stream at a time really is the only way to go. There is no right order either, just what works for you. My goal is to provide you with some insight into how to go about it yourself, and maybe even create a workable blueprint for others to follow.
If you want to do this with me as I go along, that would be great, it is always more interesting to share a journey.
If you just want to follow along see what I do and maybe have a go later, that’s fine too.
My aim is to provide you with content that is a little different from what everyone else is doing and at the same time are things you can apply to your business to help create the results you’re after.
I have started a new micro niche website. The reason I have started with that first is micro sites can take a little time to get up and running to the point where they are ranking well, and hopefully generating a return. And if it doesn’t work out I’d like to know sooner rather than later. Another point for starting here is that I will spend a fair bit of time getting it set up and then I can just having it running on semi-automatic or at least with a bit less work. That will allow me to concentrate on other income streams while it matures.
Make sense?
I’m not going to tell you what the site is about or what niche it is in, because I don’t want people heading over to it and messing up the numbers for the site.
I do plan to us it as a case study at some point down the track and show you how I have developed it, and whether it is making any money or not.
Now I am aware that niche website case studies are not new, there have been plenty of others done and even a few website duals as well. But with the shift away from thin small niche sites I am working a slightly different method. I’ll keep you posted as to how it pans out.
And in keeping with tradition, I will post monthly income reports so you can see how things are progressing in my quest to create multiple income streams.
You’ll also notice me tinkering with the site as I try new things and generally tweak and change stuff about from time to time.
This will be an interesting ride if nothing else. I can’t wait to see where it plays out.
Hope you join me in the journey.
Stay curious.

Sounds like a great Idea Scott! As I just lost my entire site. I learned the HARD way. Excited to see what transpires here! Cheers!
